SanDisk introduces world’s smallest 128GB USB 3.0 Ultra Fit Flash Drive

SanDisk Corporation has introduced the world’s smallest 128GB compact flash drive in the SanDisk Ultra Fit series at the Computex 2015. The flash drive is already available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. SanDisk also introduced Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive in 256GB capacity, which is the company’s highest capacity USB flash drive to-date.

The SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 128GB Flash Drive will be priced at an MSRP of $119.99, and the SanDisk Ultra 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is priced at an MSRP of $199.99. Both these flash drives will be available globally, but no details about the time frame of the roll out.


Ford announces SYNC 3 connectivity system – Will Launch on Escape and Fiesta later this year

Ford has just announced their SYNC 3 communication and entertainment system for their vehicles. The Sync 3 system will first roll out on the 2016 models of Ford Escape and Fiesta that will be launched in the market later this year.


The new system is faster and easier to use as it has enhanced response to driver commands as compared to previous generations. The main focus of SYNC is to provide a safe way for drivers to interact with their vehicles without needing to take their eyes off the road.

Mark LaNeve, VP at Ford Motor Corp for US Marketing, Sales and Service said:
“Customers continue to tell us they want this technology, and they want it to be fast and easy to use – like a smartphone. SYNC 3 delivers on that request.”
SYNC 3 features new hardware as well as software to enhance user experience. It features seamless integration of AppLink to allow easy controlling of smartphone apps, Siri, software updates over Wi-Fi etc. SYNC is currently running on over 12 million vehicles and Ford expects to increase that number by a large margin soon.
